Former La Costa Canyon runningback Vinny Perretta, a Boise State standout, was added to the Minnesota Vikings practice squad. Perretta was cut by the Vikings at the end of training camp. He returns as a wide receiver and kick returner. In the practice squad position as a reserve, Perretta is potentially one or two wide receiver injuries away from getting activated to the active 53-man roster. The Vikings play the Green Bay Packers this week on Monday night football.
