Torrey Pines dropped a 41-10 decision to rival La Costa Canyon last week, while Carlsbad fell to El Camino 23-13. It was Carlsbad's second straight loss. ... Torrey Pines is 1-3-1 in its last five games with the only win coming against San Pasqual (31-0). ... RB Robert Murray has 158 carries for 1,075 yards and five TDs for the Falcons. RB Brock Ringo is close by with 77 carries for 816 yards and 10 TDs. ... Carlsbad could well be without QB Michael Leonard, who has a sprained MCL ligament suffered in the second series last week after driving the Lancers for a TD on the first possession. At a glance: After a three-game stretch in which it scored just three points, El Camino made the playoffs by winning its last two games and three of its last four. A 23-13 win over Carlsbad last week clinched a postseason berth. ... The Wildcats will be without QB Colton Morrison (turf toe), but Collin Jones has provided a spark, completing 29-of-60 passes for 419 yards. RB Eric Paopao leads the ground game with 76 carries for 402 yards while Joe Daris had 55 carries for 220 yards. The Wildcats have four WRs with at least 11 catches, led by Ryan Ena's 16. ... The Wildcats have been outscored 211-149 this season, but have outscored their last four opponents ---- Rancho Bernardo, Vista, Rancho Buena Vista and Carlsbad ---- 105-73. ... The Mission Hills offense has been hit hard by injuries the last few weeks. QB DJ Zapata missed time with a dislocated index finger, but is back and has completed 87-of-148 passes for 1,380 yards and 10 TDs this year. RB Eddy Sihavong missed a game with a sprained ankle and played only a half last week against Fallbrook. He has 157 carries for 966 yards and is expected to be close to 100 percent tonight. ... TE Dallas Butler is Zapata's favorite target with 27 catches for 402 yards. WR Nigel Westbrooks, who caught the game-winning TD last week against Fallbrook, has 22 catches for 313 yards. ... Mission Hills opened the season with four straight wins, then went through an 0-2-1 stretch before winning two of the last three. The Grizzlies have outscored their opponents 218-174.
